Published on 16 Sep 2013

Salvage experts have begun trying to right the crippled Costa Concordia, nearly two years after it capsized off the Tuscany coast. The ship capsized in shallow waters 20 months ago after crashing into some rocks, killing 32 people.

Project manager for Italian salvage firm Micoperi, Sergio Girotto, said: “Visually it will take some time before you’ll see a difference but nonetheless the operation has started and everything is going well.” Report by Anna Collinson.
