Dear Richard,
Thank you for your message and the Certificates.
We both enjoyed your seminar, which we think is professional in both content and in location/catering etc.
We can make use of your course in our day-to-day work, but obviously within criteria. This was also during your course a matter of distinguishing what was usable for us in our line of work, and what was not.
I think it is quite a task to organise the contents of the seminar such, that all participants can enjoy a sufficient level of usage.
We will certainly recommend your services to colleagues or business-partners, and hope to meet you sometime in the future,
Best regards,
Frank Thomas & Olivier Geboers

Demand for MINI-SEMINARS Heavy Transport & Lifting is rising!
A little more then a year ago the first Mini-Seminars “Heavy Transport & Lifting” were held in the Netherlands. Since then a lot of interest has developed in the event, given by Heavy Lift Specialist Richard Krabbendam. Still fully employed by Jumbo Offshore he has found the time to prepare a detailed course in which the basic principles are explained for handling Heavy Lifts. In September the first foreign “In Company” Seminar was conducted with Bay Crane & Rigging in New York and since then a constant flow of requests for “In Company” Seminars came in and similar one day Seminars were given in Norway and the Netherlands. Early January 2009, the first two day extensive Seminar with 11 Subjects was given for the leading Engineering & Construction company in India: Larsen & Toubro Ltd., in Chennai, India. The Seminar was given to the special Project Group of the 10,000 employees counting Engineering & Construction division of Larsen & Toubro and was a great succes. Also a presentation on lifting and installation of heavy plant equipment was given my Mr.Srinivasan, Joint General Manager Plant & Machinery Business Unit (Special Projects & Construction Methods) of L&T in order to exchange ideas and have feed back from the 51 participants in the Seminar. This two day event served as an ideal platform to get his department members from all over India assembled in Chennai and exchange ideas.
Some new subjects were introduced in this two day extended Seminar. He now also introduced new topics such as Safety & Risk Management as well as Maintenance & Inspection Criteria as well as Jacking and Skidding Techniques and Load-outs of Extreme Heavy Lifts were newly introduced topics. The two day Seminar deals in total with 11 subjects. The last topic of the Seminar has since now always been the most popular one, as participants learn a lot from the mistakes that others still are making. Krabbendam encouraged his audience to mail him accidents and incidents in the Heavy Lift Transport & Lifting Industry in order to analyse what happened and avoid these accidents in the near future. After Chennai, two more “In Company” Seminars were given in Singapore and several two day public as well as “In Company” Seminars were held in the Netherlands.
His website will soon be expended with an extra web page to which pictures of accidents can be uploaded. The next public Two Day English Seminar in the Netherlands is scheduled for the 30th and 31st of Oct. 2009.
The past year a number of Mini-Seminars Heavy Transport & Lifting were given.
Most of them were “In Company” Seminars.
“In Company” Seminars were given in New York, USA for Bay Crane Services and the second one, in English as well on the 9th of October for Sevan Marine in co-operation with Advanced Production & Loading (APL) in Arendal, Norway.

Both Seminars were received very well.
Kenneth Bernardo, Chief Operating Officer of Bay Crane said it as follows: “Richard, you are exceeding my expectations”

Dear Mr.Krabbendam,
First of all, I would like to thank you for this great seminar. It helped us a lot in terms of learning new shortcuts to be able to designate transport vehicles and cranes for a certain project. I had received many positive feedbacks from participants.
Apart from that we had a chance to gain new perspectives which is going to help us in planning and execution steps of a project.
It was a pleasure for us to see you in our headquarter. I hope we will have a chance to meet again.
